The nation's largest Coca-Cola bottler has officially opened a new campus at its facilities in Columbus, Ohio, company officials announced Wednesday.

Coca-Cola Consolidated said that the $90 million project, located on 60 acres of industrial park space on the city's far southwest side, added a new 400,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse facility, along with a pair of 15,000-square-feet buildings dedicated to equipment repair and fleet maintenance. The project also added a sales center, an "experimental learning center" for training and skills development, and an on-site wellness clinic.

The expansion added 25 jobs and brings the bottler's Columbus operations to an overall workforce of 350.

The company said the warehouse would handle some 75,000 cases per day and be able to distribute products to Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

“This commitment to our teammates and production capabilities is a long-term dedication to improving how we serve the world’s best brands and flavors to our communities and the people of Ohio," said Sam Meiner, vice president of the Midwest market unit at Coca-Cola Consolidated, according to WBNS-TV.
