
Ingredients company Kerry Group recently celebrated the official opening of its new "West Coast Customer Engagement Center" in suburban Los Angeles, company officials announced.
The Ireland-based company said that the newly renovated space in Commerce, California, will be facilitate the rapid development and refinement of food and beverage solutions in collaboration with processors on the West Coast. The hub features application, R&D and pilot manufacturing facilities.
The city will also house Kerry Kalaido, the company's AI-powered "concepting" tool that allows companies to short-circuit traditional concept and product development sessions.
“This new space in Commerce is designed to facilitate R&D collaboration, speed up innovation cycles, and allow customers to work directly with our technical experts or independently in the space,” said John Cahalane, Kerry North America President and CEO. “We are constantly looking at ways to serve our customers better, so we look forward to offering our Taste Alley portfolio and Kerry Kalaido solution to ensure they can commercialize at speed in an evolving market."
