Conagra Brands plants to shut down a decades-old plant in Western Michigan, according to reports.
The Chicago-based maker of Birds Eye, Duncan Hines and many other brands will close the Fennville, Michigan, facility by the end of June.
The facility primarily manufacturers pie fillings. The closure will impact 85 employees.
Conagra spokesman Dan Hare told WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo that the move "was based on the need to operate our overall operations and facility footprint as effectively and efficiently as possible."
The company operates three additional plants in Michigan.
