LIMA, Ohio (AP) — A Michigan food supplier says it's closing a newly acquired distribution center in northwest Ohio that employs about 120 people.
Lipari Foods says it will shut down I & K Distributors in Delphos by the end of September.
The Warren, Mich.-based company finalized a deal to buy the Ohio distribution site two weeks ago. Lipari says the work from there will be moved to its headquarters in suburban Detroit.
The Lima News reports that most of the workers at the northwest Ohio operation are truck drivers, and some are in sales.
The Ohio site supplies stores with potato salad and other prepared foods.
