Famed bread brand Wonder on Monday announced the launch of its first line of snack cakes, which officials called "new chapter for the beloved brand."
The more than 100-year-old label, now owned by Flowers Foods, said that the move would offer "a fresh take on classic indulgences."
"For generations, Wonder bread has been a staple in American households, bringing families together over meals and memories," Ashley Hornsby, its director of brand management, said in a statement. "With the launch of our new treats, we're excited to bring that same sense of nostalgia and joy to a new category, giving consumers a delicious way to enjoy Wonder beyond the bread aisle."
The new products include Crème-Filled Chocolate Cupcakes, Iced Honey Buns, Pecan Cinnamon Twists and Peanut Butter Wafers, among others.
