The Terlotherm® scraped surface heat exchanger can be incorporated into a turnkey pasteurization system for vegetable purees. The units ensure high-heat exchanging capacity bringing the product from ambient temperature up to 195° F into a variable time holding tube and then cooled back down to 40° F at a continuous production rate of 2500-lbs per hour. All surfaces are continually scraped preventing any type of product burn or freeze on against the heat exchange walls, and will deliver precise and uniform temperature throughout the entire product.
