USDA Employee Blows Whistle On Beef's 'Pink Slime'

Beef trimmings (formerly used in dog food and cooking oil) are now sprayed with ammonia and added as filler to 70% of ground beef, according to Gerald Zirnstein, a former USDA scientist.
