Dodge Steel-Housed IMPERIAL™ HD mounted roller bearings combine proven bearing technology with a cast steel housing, designed specifically for heavy-duty applications. Steel housings are available in pillow block, flange, edger flange and piloted flange configurations. A patented adapter mount system makes this bearing easy-to-mount and dismount, reducing installation and removal time. There is no need to use feeler gauges to set the clearance of the bearing. An easy-to-attach lock plate holds the adapter nut in place. During operation, the adapter sleeve improves concentricity and reduces vibration.
