Armed with the knowledge of sealing platen pressure output, packaging designers can reduce the validation time required and ensure that the packaging will perform as desired, with the proper aesthetics. Unlike traditional methodologies which merely measure the air flow input to the pneumatic components (and then try to determine the pressure output which may result), this technology uses load cell technology firmly built into the sealer to measure the precise pressure being applied.
