When paired with an AC induction motor, the CFW11 variable frequency inverter offers an efficient motor/drive combination to significantly increase motor efficiency and double the motor life in applications requiring variable speed and constant torque. OptimalFlux™ technology allows a totally enclosed, fan-cooled induction motor to operate at a cooler temperature and optimizes motor flux levels across the entire speed range. Vectrue™ technology combines V/F, Sensorless Vector, VVW, and vector (with encoder) control techniques. The inverter offers efficiency ratings greater than 97 percent and design features that improve motor control and operational functions, and uses intelligent thermal management to protect IGBTs and monitor heatsink and internal air temperature.
