Two-Line Conveyor

Fri, 05/23/2014 - 8:30am

A mild steel constructed conveyer system merges over 100 products per minute. The two-line conveyor merges into a single line to feed an automated case packing machine. Individual baggers deposit both lines at predetermined speeds providing minimum gaps between products in order to complete the vertical merge. The bags detected on the top conveyer are then injected into the gaps on the bottom conveyor with the help of a vacuum metered belting prior to the merge. The system is controlled by a Rockwell L71 processor that communicates with Rockwell K6500 servo controllers over Ethernet, using CIP motion. The automotion encoder provides feedback on the CIP network to gear the servo axes to the bottom conveyor for both speed and position control.  The product has installed standard and custom conveyor solutions to over Integrators, OEM's and end-users. Product is great for manufacturers in the packaging food, dairy and bottling industries. The system includes:

  • Six conveyor sections
  • Incline mat style belts
  • Plastic belt curves
  • Grip top belt
  • Three belt servo merge systems that feed into the case packer
