Listeria Invervention in Meat

Company introduces BactoCEASE™ NV, a label-friendly ingredient for the intervention of Listeria monocytogenes in meat and poultry processing facilities. The product is a buffered, vinegar-based ingredient designed to help prevent Listeria and other foodborne pathogens in meat and poultry, as well as some fresh meat applications, helping manufacturers develop safe, clean-label food products. This ingredient is applied at lower application rates compared to traditional lactates, which could decrease ingredient cost per pound of meat, as well as contribute less sodium.
