Cargill recently launched CargillGroundBeef.com, which the company hopes will serve as a platform to connect consumers with the company and provide more detailed information about Cargill and its products. The site will provide the opportunity for consumers to interact with the company and will be integrated with social media channels like Facebook and Twitter. Katie Blick-White, an associate brand manager for Cargill, said,
"More than ever, consumers are interested in the food they eat and they want to know everything from how it's produced to new and interesting ways to prepare and enjoy it."
