Daily Sound Bite: BP Trial Begins

A trial began today in New Orleans to determine how much BP will have to compensate Gulf State residents, fishermen and other business owners devastated by the explosion of the company's Deepwater Horizon oil rig in 2010. Attorney Jim Roy, who represents the plaintifs, quoting an expert report said,

"BP repeatedly chose speed over safety."
